Randolph-Macon is a private liberal arts college accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. It is governed by the Board of Trustees, which provides oversight and guidance to the institution鈥檚 administrative leaders and reviews the long-term strategies, operations and performance of the university.

President Robert R. Lindgren has led the College since 2006 as Randolph-Macon’s 15th President.

Overseen by the board, and under President Lindgren’s leadership, the President’s Cabinet consists of vice presidents who lead the College’s academic and administrative departments.

about President Lindgren

President Lindgren’s tenure has been a consequential era for Randolph-Macon, during which the College has grown and flourished in enrollment, a revitalized campus, new academic and co-curricular programs, and significant private support of the College. New student enrollment increased by 40% and over 10 new majors were created. During this era, 11 new building have been constructed and 5 major renovations completed, totaling more than $100 million. This ambitious agenda has been possible because of private support, which reached an all-time high in both dollars raised and participation.
