Our students, faculty, and staff are actively engaged in the local community, participating in campus-wide service events, volunteering, and service-learning to build connections and create lasting change. At our core, we are a compassionate and driven community dedicated to making a positive impact in the world around us with the collective aim to advance social progress. Our community service program is called SERVE, led by a student committee and supported by the Student Engagement Center.

About SERVE

Goals

Our program aims to provide participants with a holistic learning experience that goes beyond traditional classroom settings.

Through our service and service-learning opportunities, we seek to broaden their perspectives and deepen their understanding of social issues by examining their root causes and context.

We hope to foster a greater sense of empathy and consideration for the welfare of others, while also emphasizing the interconnectedness of our society on a global scale. Additionally, we aim to cultivate a greater appreciation for the rich diversity of cultures and human experiences, while encouraging participants to reflect on the impact of their engagement with service and service-learning opportunities.
